Thriving parents lead to healthy, thriving children and communities, which is why we are happy to provide in-person prenatal and new parent classes, at no cost, to the public.
Pregnancy Class Series
(Free and in-person.)
Join our monthly four-week course on pregnancy, taking place on Wednesdays, 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm starting the first Wednesday of every month. Dinner will be provided and you will have an opportunity to ask your pregnancy-related questions to our staff, which includes a Registered Nurse and a Registered Dietitian. Each class also includes special baby gift(s)!
Note: Childcare is not available at this time. Children are welcome if there is someone coming who will care for them quietly.

Class 1: Your Expectations of Pregnancy (1st Trimester)
This getting-started-with-pregnancy class offers tips for managing symptoms of morning sickness, fatigue, the emotional impact of pregnancy, and what to expect for prenatal care.

Class 2: Sailing Along in Pregnancy /Eating for Two
This class covers changes to expect in your 2nd trimester and how to eat to maintain your good health while you grow a strong and healthy baby. Learn about the emotional ups and downs of pregnancy and how to deal with them while you begin to bond with your unborn baby.
June 21
Class 3: Preparing for The Final Stretch
Learn what to expect during the 3rd trimester, childbirth planning tips, and getting ready for your new baby. Learn about nesting.
June 28
Class 4: What Comes Last? Then What?
Discusses what to expect during labor and after delivery and your first few weeks of being a new family.
This FREE series repeats every month starting on the 1st Wednesday of each month (except July). You may attend missed classes in the next series.

June 5th
Embracing Fatherhood! Part 2
This class gives new dads a chance to explore the adventures of actually parenting of your new baby. Your “Baby Mama” will need even more help and support. Learn ways to step up, be proactive, and be excited about being an involved and present Dad! Learn about Dad “Baby Blues” and how to feel better. You will receive a Daddy Survival kit of useful (and funny) resources.

Understanding Your Infant
Probably one of the scariest things in life is bringing home your newborn for the first time and realizing, I DON’T KNOW WHAT I’M DOING….and my baby can’t tell me what they need! In this class, we discuss will how you really can understand your baby’s needs and how they communicate, their personality, and how they learn and grow. We will discuss baby milestones some of their cues of hunger and sleep readiness.
